I’m a journalist based between New York and Australia. I write about business and the environment.

Currently, I cover the asset management industry for the Financial Times’ FundFire publication.

Previously, I worked with a team of reporters from Columbia Journalism Investigations on a story about how climate change is killing Americans. It was published by the Center for Public Integrity and The Guardian. My work was supported by a grant from the Fund for Investigative Journalism

I have also worked as a freelance investigative reporter and researcher for The New York Times. I wrote about the consulting firm McKinsey and Company's secretive $12.3 billion dollar hedge fund and contributed reporting to stories on McKinsey's illegal contract in South Africa and entanglement in a bribery case against a Ukrainian oligarch. I provided research for a story about McKinsey’s role in raising the stature of authoritarian governments

I graduated with a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University in 2018 and a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in Asian Studies from the University of Tasmania in 2016. I got my start in journalism as a casual radio producer for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation in Hobart.

When not working, you can find me bushwalking in my home state of Tasmania. I’m a 2017 John Monash Scholar.
